2010 Hyundai Tucson - Low maintenance solid ride
This is a solid, reliable SUV at a reasonable price. I bought it used for under $10,000 even though it had over 70k miles. In the three years I've owned it, I've had no maintenance repairs yet except the standard oil changes. It is a fairly smooth ride and comfortably seats four or five.
Story
I have driven this car on many trips in the Midwest. It is perfect because there is ample room for everyone and everything. My mom always makes me drive my SUV because no one else has a vehicle sufficient for our vacation needs.
Pros
My SUV is a standard, but it has almost everything I need. It is simple to drive and all the controls are easily accessible. It drives smoothly with decent gas mileage. It looks fairly sharp and more expensive than its bargain price. I really liked that it was set up for Sirius radio and had a USB port to play all my music. There is tons of room on the inside, and the seats can be removed if you need to haul larger appliances. The seats are very comfortable, and the material feels nice. Cons
I really have no major complaints with this vehicle. Occasionally on really cold days, it seems like it takes a while to warm up and reach full power. But this vehicle was never a burner off the line to start with. I wish it had come with factory-included crossbars on the roof rack so I could put my kayak up there. But you have to find and order those separately.

2010 Hyundai Elantra - Lujack Schierbrock Hyundai Davenport
We bought a car here, and take both cars here for service. You really get the feeling from everyone who works there that they have your best interest at heart. When buying our car, we didn't feel like they were jerking us around to try to get more money out of us. Instead, they worked with us to get our monthly payment to a place that was comfortable for us. When we go in for service, we're always served quickly and very courteously.

The sales staff was great, and knowledgeable. Unlike other dealerships I searched during that time, they didn't give me a lot of "I don't knows" to questions I had. They gave me much more than my trade-in was worth so I could have payments that I could afford. They filled up my car not only when I first bought that car, but also during my first couple of check-ups.
