2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Gets the job done
I loved this car. At a time in my life when money was tight for me. I was able to find this gem of a car that was in my budget and compact enough for me to drive in. I don't like huge SUVs since they make me feel like I'm driving a tank, so this car was perfect because it wasn't so cumbersome. I had so many great memories in this car.
Story
I rode to San Francisco in this car by myself, and it was my first real road trip. I loved it. I drove all around San Francisco with it and had an absolute blast with all of my friends.
Pros
The pros were mostly having to do with how much of a trooper this car was. It was comfortable and sporty looking, something I really wanted in a vehicle. I wanted it to be able to go off roading, and from what the reviews online said, and the car maker itself, it could do that for me. The mpg was great, and I had a lot of fun in this car.
Cons
It needed to be checked up on quite a few times a year. Lights would go on even after I'd just seen the dealership mechanic one to two weeks prior. It was a little bit irritating, but for the most part, things still ran smoothly even when I didn't get the lights checked out at the dealership. The ride also was a little rough and vibrated a bit, but it wasn't too bad.
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Reliable travel and personal vehicle.
The 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition is an all-around great vehicle. It is reliable, comfortable, and a very good purchase. It is reliable in the sense that it can get you from point A to point B. This can be both short distances and long distances such as across the country road trips. It is comfortable in terms of having plenty of leg room for both the front and back seat passengers. In addition, the trunk space is plentiful. The back seats are removable or can be folded down to create even more space. The windows come tinted for sun protection and privacy. The surround sound speakers also provide for great sound quality and entertainment value. The vehicle comes equipped with electronic monitoring to let you know how many miles until the gas tank is empty, if your vehicle ne... (more)
Story
I drove the car from California to Texas and took naps in the back with my dog when I pulled over to take breaks. It was comfortable since there was plenty of space.
Pros
Reliable car to get from point A to point B. Car has power to accelerate on highways and go off-roading. Car is comfortable when driving on rugged roads. Plenty of space for leg room and trunk space.
Cons
Car's leather seats do not hold up to wear and tear very well.
