I disliked driving the vehicle as it was very bulky and hard to maneuver in tight spaces, such as parking lots and city streets. It's spacious inside and comfortable for long trips, but the terrible gas mileage is a con. Additionally, I disliked the look of the car and I didn't like the color (dark green).
Story
Great for long trips when you need to bring a lot of people and equipment, such as a camping trip.
Pros
Vehicle is very spacious and comfortable, and all of the interior features (radio, AC controls, etc.) are very user friendly and easily reachable
Cons
--Poor gas mileage --Bulky/hard to maneuver in tight spots --Ugly look

I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee used for only $8000, about four years ago. It had 119,000 miles, and was my first ‘nice’ car. I had looked at a couple of other cars in my price range, but fell in love with my Jeep the instant I saw it. It’s an LE, so it has a leather interior and all the bells and whistles that were ‘fancy’ back in 2002 – a console with mileage metrics, cruise control, and a sun roof! Since I bought it, I’ve put nearly 60,000 miles on, with only the expected maintenance repairs. It’s reliable, comfortable, and has made me a complete Jeep convert! I can’t imagine driving a smaller car, knowing the comfort of a Jeep. Similarly, I would not want the hassle of driving a bigger SUV (like an Escalade or a Yukon) – I enjoy having a smaller SUV which is more versatile and does... (more)
Story
I have now taken my Jeep on two road trips from LA -- one to Tucson, AZ, and one to Lake Tahoe. I love the freedom and sense of adventure I feel on road trips!
Pros
Comfort Mileage (pretty good for an older SUV!) Cost efficiency
Cons
It's a bit loud inside, but this is primarily due to the age of the vehicle (weather stripping is wearing out!) Mileage isn't as good as newer hybrid vehicles
