2008 Jeep Liberty - Reliable Strong Car

I choose to purchase a Jeep because I like the size of the vehicle. What drew me to the Jeep Liberty was that it was a more feminine looking Jeep in my opinion. The special features on my specific Jeep Liberty were what sold me on the car.

Story

I have so much fun driving my Jeep with the Freedom Roof open, the windows down and music playing. I live in Las Vegas so driving down the strip is always fun. I have been on many road trips to California and Arizona with friends and family.

Pros

The windows are automatic. I have had no complications with the car's maintenance. I have only had to do oil changes and tire replacements. I have never had to take it to the shop. I think the Jeep Liberty has a very good turn radius especially for an SUV. I feel very safe in my Jeep Liberty because of the size. The styling is very modern and still doesn't look out of date. My Jeep Liberty has a feature called the Freedom Roof. It is a retractable sun roof that stretches the entire length of the roof. This was the feature that made me buy the Liberty. Cons

The gas mileage is 16 city and 22 highway. The acceleration and braking is average. The seats are not automatic and have average comfort.

2002 Jeep Liberty - Exceptional

Overall, the quality of the car is exceptional. Aside from a few problems with the breaks, which wore out quicker then anticipated and my engine lacking certain fluids to start correctly from time to time, I would say the car runs well. The interior is spacious and has all the commodities a car owner would desire. The car accelerates quickly and preforms well on dirt roads, especially with 4x4 on.

Story

A great time I remember is when I went off road and just took a dirt road. I had no idea where it went to. I was with a few buddies who just egged me on to keep going. We went through a mountain and found hieroglyphics. Epic!

Pros

My favorite features would be the 4x4. Since I have had this car, I have been able to take roads that are otherwise deemed not drivable. I also enjoy the speakers, the ABS breaking system, and the v6 engine. Makes it powerful yet decent on gas.

Cons

While the car is OK on gas, it still cost an arm and a leg to constantly refuel. Besides that, tires are an expensive fix, and so is the paint job. One other problem of this brand is it susceptibility with a faulty air conditioner. Occasionally, my air turns off for no apparent reason.
