A very comfortable ride with a beautiful navigation system. Lots of storage space, as it comes with the roof rails pre-installed. The boxy shape to the front end makes minor repairs for a DIY fixer nice and comfortable. Leather, heated seats and remote start make our cold Minnesota winters bearable. The optional four-wheel drive also is great for snow/ice or towing. It can be turned on or off, so you can use it as needed or turn it off to increase your miles per gallon of gasoline. The entertainment system is great - it has a six-disc CD changer and a hard drive to install music directly to your radio. Of course, it also has an auxiliary port, so I'm able to plug my phone in directly to listen to whatever I may choose, music, podcast, etc. There is a good amount of storage within the v... (more)
Story
I have taken my Jeep on several road trips and totally love it. I often take four or five people up to Breezy Point, Minnesota, and we have plenty of space in the back and using the rail racks for all of our gear.
Pros
The remote start, four-wheel drive, and the overall storage within the vehicle. Plus, it is a very comfortable ride for someone who is over six feet tall.
Cons
The heated seats can get very hot, the miles per gallon is less than I'd prefer (about 19), and the interior lights can be very difficult to figure out.

2007 Jeep Liberty - Great for long trips.

My 2007 Jeep Liberty is amazingly stylish for a bit of an older car. I love how it’s categorized as an SUV, but very compact and small in size and dimension. It’s really great for long trips and even short trips. It has very good leather seats, and amazing four wheel drive especially on ice roads.
Story
A fun story was how one day it snowed heavily and then got very cold with a mixture of snow and rain, it caused the roads to freeze as in black ice. Every car on my block was having a hard time moving, all I had to do was put my car on 4wd and it drove smoothly despite the black ice.
Pros
My favorite features in the car are the four wheel drive and leg room behind the driver and passenger side seats. The four wheel drive is great when your living out a rural area and even better when living in the colder and snowier states like Minnesota. It helps ease your mind when driving in poor conditions. Another feature I mentioned was the leg room, for a compact Suv like my Jeep Liberty one might expect it to be a bit tough to attain optimal leg room space but that’s truly the opposite with my Jeep Liberty as it has good amount of spacing between the front and back seats allowing f... Cons
There aren't many cons from my Jeep Liberty except the amount of fuel needed. This can be reminded by maintaining the vehicle appropriately. Another con is their isn’t more the 5 seats, you’d expect an suv to have more seats available then a sedan .
