2010 Jeep Patriot -
The car has been extremely reliable and has had no breakdowns in the eight years that I've owned it. It has a roomy interior, gets decent gas mileage, and has plenty of space inside. The rear seat also folds down so there is plenty of cargo room. The car is extremely affordable.
Story
We used to take the kids to the beach in it every Sunday, and then head out for ice cream later.
Pros
The car is extremely reliable. The car handles great. There hasn't been much deterioration of the color, even in the Florida sun. It gets good gas mileage. I also have a bit of a back problem and getting in/out is super easy.
Cons
The computer that controls the warning notification system screws up constantly. For some reason, things that should be easy to replace (light bulbs) are really complicated. The air bag system is faulty.
2009 Jeep Patriot - Bulky, yet satisfying and sufficient.
Its horsepower is quite nice, and it holds a big family like mine. The Jeep has a nice color and it doesn't blend in with all the other silver and black cars everywhere. It is a little big and won't fit into every parking space there is, and it's not as high-tech as other vehicles. But it makes my job and my life much easier than my old Saturn.
Story
I remember going to the beach and fitting so many items like my cooler and my bike and I was surprised to see it all fit in there. It was a fun, bumpy drive.
Pros
The seats are comfortable, it moves at a reasonable speed, and the price was pretty much a steal compared to others. I also love the radio and audio quality I get from the car. It also has a lot of space to put my bike in!
Cons
The steering wheel has a few issues here and there, and it is a bit bulkier than what I'm used to.
