It's comfortable
I bought this vehicle because I previously had a Jeep Cherokee, and like the smaller, more versatile Jeeps. I like having an SUV, but also like having part time four wheel drive, which helps on gas mileage.
Generally, it's a real comfortable vehicle with a spacious interior. The back two seats can also be folded down for more storage room, which I've even used when camping.

Easy to maintain and great gas mileage
I purchased my 2008 Jeep Patriot when my car was totaled in an out-of-state accident. Knowing I had to get home safely, I wanted a car with relatively low miles, a sturdy frame, and room to store my travelling items. I didn't think I'd like a white vehicle, but I love how it doesn't get as warm as my past cars have, and it's easy to maintain the leather interior.
