Jeep Wrangler Owner Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
2007 Jeep Wrangler - It is a good vehicle.
I originally purchased this vehicle after moving to California. There is plenty of mountainous terrain to take the Jeep. My wife and I enjoy camping and hiking, so it would be beneficial to own an all-terrain vehicle. It also has a manual transmission, which is great. It was difficult for me to drive an automatic in the traffic of southern California.
Story
My wife and I often go camping on Big Bear mountain. It is beautiful, and there are plenty of places to take it off road.
Pros
The Jeep is fully capable of going off-road in various types of terrain. As an outdoor enthusiast, this is very important because I enjoy leaving the beaten path. The manual transmission is also incredibly helpful. It keeps me awake in gridlocked traffic on a daily basis. It is also important to choose when to shift so you can utilize torque to quickly climb hills in the vehicle.
Cons
I bought the soft top, two-door version of the Jeep Wrangler. It hardly rains in this area of the world, but when it does, the inside of the Jeep gets soaked. I tried to replace the top, but it is very expensive. The Jeep itself was also expensive to purchase. They are very durable, so they do not lose their value as quickly as other vehicles, leading to a higher cost on purchase. It is also difficult to get in and out of the back seat. I have taken the back seats out at this point.
