Disappointed.
I purchased my 2011 Kia Optima in 2014 with a little over 40K miles. I loved how the car looked and I was hoping that I would be able to save on fuel consumption by switching to this car from my Jeep Liberty. In the first 2 years I had almost no issues with the car. Then about a year ago, my break pads needed replacing and I had issues with my steering wheel. Then this year we noticed that I am losing oil rapidly, although no leaks could be identified. There was also a major recall on this model that would require possible replacement of the car's engine. I just had my car checked yesterday and it seems okay. The car itself is still very beautiful, although the leather has started showing signs of wear and tear. Overall, my car is in great shape. I would not purchase this car again mainly because the constant oil change is something that worries me a lot. I was also a single mom when I got this car. Now, I am married and I also gained 2 bonus kids. This car just seems too small for us. I am thinking of getting a mini van instead.

The best vehicle purchase I have made.
I have owned many brands of cars yet, owning a KIA Optima has stood at the top of my list for the best vehicle purchase to date. The car fits me completely, inside and out. The best features of this vehicle are the design/look of luxury crossed with stealthiness from every angle. The same luxury look is carried to the interior, with white stitched leather seats, electronic functions to meet every need, controls that are simple, and comfort that makes you want to drive longer. 60K miles in a little over 3 years of ownership and I have not had a single maintenance issue. Over the years I continue to receive complements on the look of the vehicle and questions on how I like the ride. This single purchase has now turned my family into KIA owners, as we purchased a KIA Forte for our son, and upgraded my husband to a KIA Sorento this year.

I was able to inquire about the vehicle online before having to visit the showroom. This is a volume dealer, they found exactly what I was looking for since they have minimal inventory on the lot. I purchased the car from a female who was my age & very personable. The dealership was within a few miles of my house. I never felt hounded upon there & it was easy to walk away until they satisfied my deal.

The salesperson that I purchased my car from was female & my age. The dealership is a volume dealer meaning that they could get any new Kia that I wanted. The dealership was within 2 miles from my house. I didn't feel hounded upon when visiting this dealer. I was able to inquire online about a new car before visiting the showroom.
