The 2013 Kia Sorrento is a perfect choice in EVERY way, except for the very concerning blind spot at the right back corner opposite the driver's seat. The thick panel at the windows makes it impossible to see another car in the adjacent lane at the blind spot and at the same time, the passenger side headrest prevents a view out that window. This is a setup for a dangerous collision when adjacent cars are too close for the Sorrento driver to change lanes. Another fault of this vehicle is the short, small back rear window preventing a wide view of what is behind the driver. After serious consideration, if safety is a priority, the Kia Sorrento 2013 comes up short in this area, and therefore may be a deal breaker for any buyer.

We purchased a 2014 Kia Sorento within the last month, and it's, so far, been the best vehicle I've ever owned in regards to options and being a pleasure to drive. We've owned a Kia Borrego in the past and found that vehicle to be a well built and safe vehicle, so we stayed with the brand for our new car. This vehicle is loaded with more features than I will ever even use. I love that it is AWD. It appears to be fairly easy to work on in regards to normal maintenance items at least. I like that the engine compartment is neat and orderly and that there is room enough to see what's going on and get your hands in there. This is the most comfortable car I've ever owned in regards to ergonomics. Everything is truly at your fingertips and in your line of site without being a distraction. Buttons are intuitive and individually shaped for an easy find tactile solution. The full sliding sun shade and huge sunroof are just incredible for all passengers. There's enough room to completely lay down in the back if you want and a stow-able third row for extra passengers.
