Of each utmost importance is the fact that this car is reliable. Even when it's having a little trouble, it always starts and will get moving. It's also a really hardy car (ours has seen 2 owners and it's fair share of accidentally run over curbs or bumped poles) that comes away unscathed from, at least, minor bumps and bruises. Its also easy to maintain, even for those of us who aren't terribly car savvy - fluids are easy to check and add, clearly labeled, and easy to reach. Pros
Reliable, comfortable, hardy, and safe
Cons
A little cramped in the back seat

I didn't expect to like the Grand Marquis. It has grandpa connotations; and it is a large, rear wheel drive, traditional American car. But it is also spacious, very smooth, easier to maneuver and learn to navigate than I thought it would be, and very reliable. The technology may be old school, but it is also very durable. When needed, parts are plentiful. And almost anyone who knows how to work on cars is willing to work on this car, unlike smaller front wheel drive machines.
Story
People underestimate me because I am driving this car. They seem genuinely surprised when I easily accelerate and pass them without breaking a sweat.
Pros
Space Ride quality Large trunk Powerful V-8 engine Lots of high tech features Price is less than you might expect for a large luxury car
Cons
Fuel economy (I have observed around 20MPG) Geezer stares from other motorists Finicky climate controls
