This was the second car I ever bought, and it was an amazing value for the price I paid. I owned it for over 10 years, and it never had any major problems. I frequently received compliments on the style of the vehicle and people are always shocked when I tell them how much I paid for it. They assume the vehicle should have been nearly twice as much. I would definitely buy it again.
Story
I frequently have people asking me to race them in the car because it looks fast. I never actually raced anyone, but I think it's funny when they start revving their engines at the stop lights.
Pros
The top things about this vehicle are its reliability, styling and sound system. This is easily the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. When I first bought the vehicle, some of my friends told me to get a Honda or Toyota instead because the Eclipse is going to be a junker in three years. That never happened. The other thing I like is the look of the interior and exterior of the car. It has a low, sporty stance. The sound system also sounds great considering it's stock.
Cons
One of the most annoying things about the vehicle is the loudness when driving it. It's not as quiet as other vehicles, which can be annoying on trips. It also has cheap headlights that have a thin coating which peels off over time.

The 2005 Eclipse GTS is one of a kind sports car. Its stylish design gives it a sporty racing car look that works well on the streets if you want that hip look. The car fits well for the driver and front passenger. Even though it has a rear seat, the space back there is small/squeezed. It is a fun to drive car, most notably quick steering reflexes that complements the over 215 horse power that is available under the hood. One bad side to this great power is that you will be spending more on fuel compared to most other vehicles models. Even when you are on the highway, the vehicle still consumes significantly. Breaking and handling of the car great, enabling you to do high speeds, maneuvering sharp corners with great ease.
Story
I used to participate in underground street races in San Diego with my 2005 eclipse GTS. I had a full viper body kit, modified the engine and even added NOS to boost the speed. I made some money off the racing but got busted by cops and had my sweet babe impounded and stripped off the engine mods I had on it. It was fun though racing and winning 75% of the times I attempted. Its truly a great car.
Pros
The stylish sporty design is top priority for this car. If you are into body/design modification, there are numerous body kit options available to choose from that go well with the vehicles design. The two front seats are also designed as racing car bucket seats which makes you feel as though you were in a real racing car. The manufacturer's horse power/acceleration that it comes with is slightly above most of the other cars on the road thus taking off when the lights turn green keeps you ahead of the traffic. The engine is easily customizable, infusing new parts into the engine without ha... (more)
Cons
This car is a fuel guzzler. Compared to its counterparts, it feels like there is almost no consumption difference even when you are on the highway. While you will not spend so much time in the service or repair shop, simple service replacement parts are indeed quite expensive. The back seat space and the trunk space is really small. You can not pack much is you wanted to go camping or other out door experiences.

Many people recommended car max when it was time for me to get a new vehicle and so I decided to check them out. The staff were very nice and seemed fairly competent overall. There were many cars to look at and I had the chance to test drive quite a few of them. I liked that everything was taken care of efficiently, and the process was quite quick and easy. They gave me a decent value on my trade in, actually more than I was expecting which was nice. Love my car and overall it was a good experience.

They gave me a zero down offer on a used car for a period of three months, this is what mostly attracted me to this dealership. The warranty was also great because I only pay an added $37 per month for a two year warranty on the used car. This particular purchase was my second and as such the gave me a huge discount on the actual price of the car compared to the Kelly Blue Book estimate for the car.
