Mechanical nightmare
What sold me on this vehicle in the first place was the fancy appearance. Leather seats, power seats, power windows, power locks, Bose stereo, and other features made the price of the car seem like a good deal. It was also fun to drive.

Great car at first. Loved the design and overall feel of the vehicle. Great handling, but a little sluggish in the acceleration. Decent gas mileage for the size of the car. At just over 80,000 miles the transmission stopped working correctly, resulting in thousands of dollars in repairs. Not very good dependability according to other Altima reviewers on multiple websites with the same issue. Other than the transmission, I can say that the experience is well done.
