I bought my Nissan Altima 2001 used. It was at about 80,000 miles and I've had it for about two years now. I like the car because it has pretty good mpg for a used vehicle. In addition, it is a good commuter car for those who need to commute to or from school or work. It has a relatively small fuel tank so you would need to fill it from time to time but you can go about a week without putting in gas which I think is awesome. The car isn't very appealing from the outside because the front is longer than the butt of the car but it has good trunk space. A downside is that the trunk does not have a light so it is a struggle when you're getting things out from the trunk at night. Also, it is a struggle driving uphill because you have to accelerate a lot. The car is very comfortable, the int... (more)
Pros
Good acceleration and braking control, comfortable interior, big trunk space, easy to drive.
Cons
The vehicle is in a weird shape, no trunk light, hard to drive up hill.

Overall the car is attractive has decent power and has decent gas mileage. the car style doesn’t look like a typical midsize car and has smooth edged look that makes it look modern and almost a bit more sporty. The car has decent power for a midsize car, accelerating responds well, and handling is good as well. The city mileage is not that great, it should be about 21 miles per gallon but can get lower down to about 16 mpg somewhat often. If driving on a highway with little or no traffic then it gets good mileage often pushing 30 miles per gallon. Inside the car the driver’s seat and passenger seat feel a bit low and can get a bit uncomfortable with your legs. The backseats are more comfortable. The trunk has a good amount of room and hasn’t been a cause of trouble, but you won’t be fi... (more)
Story
Learned how to drive in the car and the braking and acceleration power saved me from hitting other cars.
Pros
The outer look of the car and the driving are good. Acceleration and braking are good as well.
Cons
Transmission has problems. Don't know if it's something that only happened to me. But after less than five years the transmission broke and had to be changed.
