Nissan Altima Owner Ratings & Reviews

2018 Nissan Altima - Just a star
I was looking for a new car and a friend recommended an Altima to me. I had never really considered a Nissan, but once I drove it, I was shocked I had never looked at it before. The car not only has incredibly comfortable seats, but it handles like a dream and has good general options on it as well. I really feel like its well built and something anyone should look at.
Story
Taking it on a long road trip to Atlanta to visit a friend. It was a great highway cruiser.
Pros
Very well built, comfortable to drive, good power and general options available.
Cons
Poor brand awareness and hard to get parts in more rural areas.
2010 Nissan Altima - I love this car!
I bought my Nissan Altima used with about 35,000 miles on it and it was the best decision I've ever made. It's stylish and efficient, saving me much more money on gas than my previous vehicle. It's extremely low maintenance and doesn't need much upkeep. Just make sure you take it in for regular servicing/oil changes and you're good to go. I appreciate the fact that there's a place for an auxiliary adapter so that I can hook up my own music and I also love the sunroof, although I actually wish that it was a bit bigger, I appreciate having one to begin with. It really feels like a low-budget sports car when I'm driving, and I have to say... I'm not complaining!
Story
One of my most memorable moments in having this car was when I first got it and went for a drive along the beach near Boca Raton. I had all the windows and the sunroof open and i was blasting my music. It was just a great feeling.
Pros
The most positive things that come to mind in regards to this vehicle are that it's extremely efficient and good on gas. The exterior of the car is beautiful and I believe it's one of the last years the old design was used. The Altimas recently had a tweak in the way they were designed and I much prefer the look of the older models. The interior is also very sleek with leather seats which makes clean up very easy. There is a large array of additional features available upon purchase including Navigation and Technology packages. The Nissan brand is very trusted in the industry and I feel it... (more)
Cons
I did have an issue where the brakes locked up and because of this, I was unable to start the vehicle. When I took it to the Nissan dealership, they assured me that it was a rare occurrence and it had something to do with one of the sensors. It took no time at all to fix and only cost about $80. Also, it took a little getting used to how fast the car takes off. At times it really does feel like I'm driving a sports car, although I wouldn't necessarily consider that a con. Really it just depends on what you prefer. Other than that, I haven't had any issues. It's been one of the best decisio... (more)
