I purchased my vehicle about a year ago from a couple who had just bought a new car. We looked at this one, and though its a bit ugly with a pattern of faded paint on the hood, and just a gold color, thought it'd do us well for driving around the country. After almost a year we've had to take it to the mechanic only twice, once for an oil change and the other time one of the cam belts needed replacing. I'm a little concerned about how much longer all of the individual components of the car will last (some cords poking out the steering wheel, the radio is a bit finicky, the boot must be opened by key), but as a whole car it feels solid.
Story
This vehicle handles windy and windy roads quite well. We were driving on a highway going about 60-65 miles per hour. When we were sitting still we could feel the wind shaking the car, and there was a small bit of rain coming down, too. Suddenly a curve came up with no "slow down" signage and we took it too fast. A heart pounding few seconds later, no skidding, no sliding, nothing, we made it ... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing about the vehicle is that it's easy to drive. It doesn't feel super large while driving down the road, like I've had the experience of with some newer cars. The steering is very stable and it rides quite smoothly. There is plenty of legroom in the backseat, space in the trunk, and front seats. I like the placement of the speakers, I was surprised to find that they sound great in the backseat. Also the fuel economy is decent, I don't feel like I'm wasting gas when speeding up, and once we were able to push it below E for 30 miles or so while we raced for the gas station. I... (more)
Cons
I've seen the paint peeling on a lot of the Nissans I've encountered so I'm not sure if it's a Nissan thing or an area specific thing. It's strange, actually, because it's not necessarily paint peeling but fading in a pattern. There are two faded lungs on the hood of the car, which makes it look old and cheap. The brakes are squeaking a lot, but only when we back up slowly. Between the faded paint and the brakes, the car looks and sounds cheap, even though it runs well. It does have a bit of trouble going uphill, enough that sometimes my foot is on the floor while the engine works to catch... (more)

The new Maxima has been completely redesigned. The sleek body, with the seemingly floating roof line is awesome! The 18" alloy wheels really make it look sharp, almost like a sports car. The sunroof extends over the back seat so the people riding in the back get the same overhead view as the people in the front. The controls inside the car make you feel like you are driving a jet. The heated steering wheel is a plus, heated seats, mirrors with turn signal lights are cool, too. Everywhere I go people are checking it out. I don't see a lot of Maximas on the road which is good but if you are looking for a new car you should test drive this baby. You'll love it!!
Story
Coming out of a gas station a guy was walking all around my car and remarked, this is one beautiful car!
Pros
Gas mileage. It's quick - V6. Inside controls. 11 Bose speakers. Large display panel.
Cons
Visibility - I'm short in stature, so when looking over or around side view mirror on drivers side it's hard for me to see. Trunk room. I'm used to more.

I had purchased two Nissan Rogues from this dealership previously that I had no problems with so I decided to go with them again. Service is always timely, especially after receiving 3+ recalls so far. I can always get in for service when I want to. They provide courtesy car washes anytime they are open. The waiting area is great and good for kids which keeps them from being bored. They always have fresh popcorn, coffee, and of course vending machines and they used to have bottled water. All in all it's a pleasant experience.
