2015 Nissan Sentra - Mostly happy
No mechanical problems experienced so far. Ride is smooth. Has nice styling. Dealer is generous with free oil changes.
Story
Drove to the beach and was able to slip into a very small parking spot. Several people have stopped and asked me my assessment of the car.
Pros
Up-to-date technology makes driving safer and more enjoyable. Nice look and styling compared to many cars. I particularly like the large taillights which provide good visibility to cars in the rear. Fairly good gas mileage. My most important consideration is reliability which has been okay.
Cons
Cost of add-ons such as GPS is way overpriced. At time of purchase, dealer inventory was low, and I was unable to get my preferred color. Salesman reneged on an offer of a free iPad, causing me to fight for it (ultimately successfully).
2002 Nissan Sentra - A nice car for a beginner
The Nissan Sentra is overall a nice quality car that doesn't cost too much and is perfect for those who are learning how to drive. I got this car for my son that just got his permit and it's been a great learning experience and teaching tool.
Story
My most memorable moment was having my son drive it for the first time. I made sure everything was to his liking, and it was a good bonding moment.
Pros
My favorites about this car are the low costs, good mileage, and safety features. In addition the car is very durable and can take the minor scrapes and bumps. Another thing I particularly like is that the ride is pretty smooth compared to other types of vehicles.
Cons
I don't have too many complaints about the Sentra, in fact I'd give it a pretty high mark on the likability factor. If I had to point out one thing about the car it would be that once it reaches a certain age it really shows in looks and performance. That's when you know it's time for a new model.
