The performance is good. I think it has a lot of horsepower. It takes off pretty fast. It is a lot more practical than the last car I had, as it was a convertible. I kind of like the sleek styling. I have only had this car for 4 months, so I can't really speak to the reliability. Although, it hasn't let me down yet. The fuel mileage is great compared to my last car. The trunk has plenty of room, which I like. I actually like everything about this car except it makes my neck hurt. The design of the seat seems to make my head lean forward. I don't know why they designed it this way. This is the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven. I have tried buying seat covers and pillows. Nothing seems to help. Story
I did take this car to a drive-in theater. I took my nephews. They had a blast.
Pros
It is roomy. It rides smooth. I like that this car is higher off the ground than my last car.
Cons
The design of the seat is awful. It is most uncomfortable.

I really like this car. I had driven a '99 Dodge Stratus for the last 3 years and kept running into dumb problems with it. The Grand Am was purchased from my brother's father-in-law. It had about 199k miles on it when purchased and I have added about 5k more without any problems. Cruise control works well and mechanically the car seems sound. The cabin is roomy and comfortable and it has enough space to haul all my musical equipment. The one drawback is the radio's constant power has a short in it and cannot hold presets.
Story
I took the car up to Baltimore for a soccer game and tailgated in it. It had enough space to store all our gear and was secure enough that we could lock our valuables in it with no problem.
Pros
Good solid engine. The 4matic engine is super reliable and I've had no problems with the transmission yet. It's deceptively big and has a large trunk.
Cons
The radio's constant power is not working so it cannot hold presets. Sometimes the driver side window sticks a little bit. I I cannot figure out how to fold the back seats down.
