Used Ram 1500 for Sale in Colfax, WI

In January of 2016, a leased a 16 Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab, Big Horn Addition. The powertrain chosen was the Pentastar V6 over the 5.7 Hemi V8. I selected the Pentastar V6 for a number for reasons. One, it has good performance due to the gearing of the 8-speed automatic. Second, the fuel economy in very impressive for a full-size pickup truck. Three, it provides all the functionality that I would ever need. Four, the price of the truck with the Pentastar V6 was much less than the Hemi V8. In addition to the powertrain, I love the ride quality if the coil link suspension. Ride more like a car based SUV than a full body on frame truck. The cabin room is perfect for a family of five. The interior layout, quality, and the Uconnect system is fantastic. I only have two drawbacks up my truck. I wish I got the 3.55 gear rather than the 3.21 and the upgraded stereo system. I find the transmission wanting to down shift a little more than my liking. I think the 3.55 gear would be more suited for the type of topography I drive on.

The Ram 1500 Laramie is a beast of a truck. The Hemi engine is powerful and has a lot of torque. It is fast, and you feel it when you hit the gas. The leather interior is next to none that I have seen. The seats are soft and the interior is like a space ship with lots of LED lighting and ambient backlights. Cargo space is superior with a 5' long bed. The bells and whistles that go with this vehicle are spectacular. Moonroof, electric start, navigation system and heated seats to name a few. It is a gas hog though. If you are looking to save money on gas, this is not the truck for you. 11 mpg tops in the city and 16 mpg with the V8 is about the best you're going to get. It's fast!
