My dad bought this car for me from a used car dealer. My dad knows cars, so I always get him to get something for me. I like that it has lots of room; it's a station wagon, which is kind of a throwback to when I was a kid. I'm the kind of person doesn't care what he drives. I mean, I like the forest green color, I like the heated seats. Radio works. It isn't no chick magnet, so if I was looking for a chick, I wouldn't drive this vehicle.
Story
I use it to go pick up my daughter in Oklahoma when she comes to visit me. Those are always memorable trips. One of the town names that we pass makes that Pac-Man sound when you say it over and over again. Makes us laugh. Go ahead. Try it. Name of the town is Wapanucka.
Pros
Like I said above, the heated seats. I like that the radio works. I like the storage space, it's very open and you can put the back seats down to make even more room.
Cons
Acceleration seems to lag some. It doesn't have automatic locks.

The 2011 Subaru Legacy is an often overlooked family sedan. The Symmetrical All Wheel Drive combined with the boxer engine makes trips in dicey weather a dawdle. After 160,000 miles, the inside still looks nearly brand new. The paint has held up excellently, as well.
Story
Driving to New Mexico on a ski trip on icy and snowy roads with total confidence.
Pros
I like the styling of the interior and exterior of the vehicle, the Harman/Kardon sound system is an amazing option, and overall the reliability has been fabulous.
Cons
This car is not the easiest car in the world to work on by yourself if something fails. Subaru dealerships are in short supply, and when you have to deal with the manufacturer directly hold times are absurd and the company itself is reluctant to take care of its vehicle owners/customers.

I bought this car more than 10 years ago, so recent reviews may differ from mine. I thought the salesman was great. He was very thoughtful and seemed to care about my needs. I got the 4 wheel drive vehicle I wanted, just not the color I would have liked. But Subaru didn't offer many good colors at the time.
