I love the way my Outback hugs the road like a race car! It does very well in snowy conditions. The air conditioning system gave me frequent problems. The sunroof leaked often. It has great storage capacity. Overall, I was very impressed by this car and its ability to handle a lot of long-distance traveling.
Story
I loved driving my son to school everyday in my Outback while listening to music. It was also my favorite road trip car.
Pros
The Subaru Outback handles on the road extremely well at high speeds. The Outback operates in three inches of snow or less very well. It has great storage capacity. I owned the car for over ten years and had no engine issues. Parts are easy to find for it.
Cons
The air conditioning system in my Outback gave me frequent problems. The sunroof leaked often. I replaced the alternator on this car twice in ten years. I had issues with the outer door panels coming off of both front doors. I had issues with both front seat interior door handles.

I own a 2000 Subaru Outback. This car has stood the test of time. It's got 205,000 miles on it currently and is running strong. I have taken this car into the mountains of Colorado, across the plains of the Midwest, through the deserts of Nevada and Arizona and into the wilds of California. This car has not let me down. It's spacious enough for me to sleep comfortably in it.
Story
Driving through the San Juan mountains and it taking a pounding but never letting me down.
Pros
It's all-wheel drive all the time. High clearance. Manual transmission.
Cons
Wish it stood a little higher.

The dealership had a great selection of vehicles. They had a nice and quite waiting area and were able to help us quickly.
