Reliable car for travelling
This car was previously owned and then purchased by a grandparent, who passed it on to me. The car has 100,000+ miles on it and still going strong. I have never had any significant issues with it, and it drives exceptionally well in bad weather. I use it as my primary mode of transportation and drive it to and from college with plenty of room in the hatchback for moving my things. I replaced the radio and speakers to an updated model because the old one was starting to not work, but otherwise I am okay with the interior. The seats are not super comfortable for long distances, but the interior is large enough to fit myself and several friends. As far as gas, the tank fits about 13 gallons and lasts for about a 4 1/2 - 5 hour drive. The exterior is typical Subaru - blue and grey coloring. Although it's not the most fashionable car, it is practical and reliable. The gas pedal is sensitive, but once I was able to get used to that it's not an issue.

Super reliable AWD car.
The Subaru Outback 2011 is a terrific car for any family. The trunk is spacious, I've never ran out of space. The car handles superbly on the snow and is very reliable. It is a pleasure to get into it for any occasion and is particularly comfortable on the highway. The mileage is a bit disappointing, in the low 30 MPG on highway, and it goes down quickly in city driving. Of course the major asset of this car is its AWD system which makes it perfect for anybody living in the Snowbelt. I live in the North East and went through a few blizzard in it and always feels super safe. Yes, the car is a bit noisy, yes the interior is a bit bland, yes it is not cheap to maintain and some work can be pricey and requires to go to the dealer (changing plugs for instance.) Nonetheless, our car is now in the 120 without any need for repairs beyond regular maintenance (tires, oil, belts, etc...) Overall, highly recommend this model and year. They are now coming surprisingly affordable in the low 10k.
