My Subaru is new to me, but so far it's exactly what I want. It gets over 30 miles per gallon highway which is one of the reasons that I bought it. I love the look of it. We had a problem deciding between the dark gray and the green but the green color won in the end. We didn't get the leather interior but went with cloth instead. I love the style and the way it handles on the road.
Story
We were driving by a garage sale and saw a patio table that this person was giving away for free. My husband said I could have it if it would fit in the back of our new Subaru. It was a tough fit and the back wouldn't close, but I have that table on my back deck today.
Pros
This model came with the EyeSight option which turned out to be great. It's not something that we were especially looking for, but it came with the car we chose. Whenever you wander over the center or right line, it beeps at you to notify you that you're leaving your lane. It also tells you when you go to pass someone that there is a car in your blind spot. The gas mileage, style, and color are the best parts of this vehicle.
Cons
This vehicle doesn't offer leather interior without getting a lot of other options like moonroof which increases the price a lot. The green exterior only comes with a very light interior which isn't very practical.

The vehicle is a 2006 Subaru Impreza. I like everything about this vehicle, starting with the appearance. It looks clean, sporty, and after 8 years still has the appearance of a newer car model. Easily the best thing about it is the all-wheel drive. Snowy winters, slippery roads, dirt roads, you name it - this car handles it better than most. Numerous times I was in situations that would've resulted in an accident in other cars - yet in the Subaru I was able to maintain complete safety. It has a sporty interior, and the hatchback feature ensures that anything you need to fit in your car - will. My fiancé and I take regular camping trips, and love the usability of this car to get off the main roads, carry all of our gear (and our dog), and be a great car overall to live out of. I love t... Story
I've had so many memorable experiences in this vehicle. My favorite was going on a camping trip with my girlfriend (at the time) up in Redwoods National Park area. We lived out the car for 6 days, even slept inside it one night, and had a wonderful experience. We ended up getting engaged to be married that weekend!
Pros
All-wheel drive, sporty exterior and interior, storage space, leg room, usability with roof racks etc., Ability to customize, safety, longevity, and sleek appearance.
Cons
Occasionally the muffler gets a little loud. The car is very low to the ground, so watch out for curbs - I hit one!

The Subaru Outback 2.5I is a great station wagon for people on the go. It is roomy enough to tote kids - those with two legs, or those with four legs! The all wheel drive is very stable, and is very able to get you through all kinds of weather conditions - gravel, rain, or snow. The handling, with the right kind of tires, is generally excellent. The engine, while good for gas mileage, isn't very peppy if you're looking for a performance vehicle. A trade-off for mileage! The seats are very firm, but power driver seat, and heated front seat are standard trim - fantastic in cold weather! The passenger cabin could be roomier, it is definitely not for a tall family, or one with teenagers! The cloth interior is durable, and if you choose a dark interior color, hides stains well! The light ta... (more)
