My Subaru Outback is one of the best cars I have ever owned. When my family was first car shopping, I knew I wanted something safe and reliable -I had previously owned an Outback, and after searching high and low for another vehicle with the same specs I couldn't find anything better and got an updated version. The best thing about the Outback is its durability. I can go very long periods of time without major repairs, and most of the time I only need to get the occasional oil change or tire pressure check. I don't have a ton of money, so having a reliable car is important to me because I don't have the time to focus on repairs. The car outperforms most in harsh weather conditions, and I rarely feel nervous driving it on snowy roads or wet freeways. Since it's so durable, the biggest drawback for the Outback is its lack of sportiness and maneuverability. The all wheel drive makes it a little more difficult to turn on a dime, and I wouldn't recommend revving the engine or trying to race.
