This vehicle is reliable, comfortable and family-friendly. There is ample trunk space, which is great for loading groceries and pets. It transforms to a work vehicle at the drop of at hat, because the trunk is so spacious, there is no need to sully the backseat. There is lots of space for other passengers, and lots of leg room. I am a full foot shorter than my partner and we both fit comfortably in the driver's seat. It is a gas-saving vehicle, and with proper maintenance, has very few issues to fix. This is evident by the number of older models of my vehicle that remain on the road for decades. It rides seamlessly from the city to rural destinations; my partner and I enjoy taking the car to our lake-front property and parking right at the water's edge. The quality of the ride is excel... Story
My partner and I drove to visit the hot springs an hour away from our home and had a picnic while sitting in the trunk of the car with the door open. Fun times!
Pros
Trunk space, gas saving, comfortable.
Cons
Long body, not stylish.

I switched to my Subaru from a 2008 Honda Civic, and I couldn't be happier with the change. I really wanted a car with more passenger and cargo space, and the Outback really hit on both. I also wanted a car that was raised up a little bit, since I live in Los Angeles, and it's nice to see above traffic. In addition to this, I'm into camping and outdoors activities so the Outback clearly fit into that lifestyle as well.
Story
The EyeSight makes LA rush hour much more tolerable. There have been numerous times it has really made the difference for me -- being that I used to commute 50 miles each way. Those miles were bad before EyeSight, but after buying my Outback, at least I could take my foot off the pedal and relax a little bit more.
Pros
My favorite feature is the EyeSight feature. It allows me to sit back and relax while my car drives for me on the freeway. It also adds additional safety in that it will automatically brake for me if there are sudden stops going backwards and forwards. In addition to this feature, I love the sound system and the leather seats that came with my Limited class. They really make the entire interior have the look and feel of a luxury car.
Cons
One of my main negatives with this car is the fuel indicator on the dash doesn't always display an accurate estimate for the remaining gas. I have run out of gas before because this indicator told me I still had 40 miles to go. In addition to this, I feel like it could have slightly better gas mileage, but it's still a very good for a car its size. City mileage can be pretty bad if you don't try to limit your use of the gas pedal.

I am on the younger side so a lot of dealerships weren't exactly kind to me, but the people at Stevens Creek Subaru treated me like a normal customer.
