I really enjoyed the customer service. In previous encounters with other dealerships, I have been treated poorly due to the type of vehicle I was looking for (used and inexpensive) but the Rapid Chevrolet dealership sales associates treated me like I was buying a $60,000 dollar car instead of a $2,000 dollar car. I was thrilled with the option to test drive without jumping through hoops and I was pleased when they vacuumed and cleaned the car before I left the lot.

I have had this car for about 2 years now, and it is, far and away, the best car that I have ever owned. Since I live in the North, we can get some pretty brutal winters, but no matter what Mother Nature throws at me, the Outback can go right through it. I've replaced brakes, exhaust and the alternator. Even at fifteen years old, it's still in great shape. It has a few rust spots of course, but that's to be expected when you live in a place that salts the roads. Once, I used this car, to pull out a Honda of similar make. The torque was amazing. The Honda was hopelessly stuck, and the Subaru pulled it right out like it was nothing, It has a smooth ride, heated seats and mirrors, and an excellent sound system. Also, being a hatchback,, there's always plenty of room in the back for grocer... (more)
Story
We drove it all through the woods during the winter and wet months and never once got stuck.
Pros
It's all-wheel drive, it has an exceptional amount of space for hauling, and it handles great in the winter.
Cons
It can be a little pricey to have it repaired.

In short, this car is best suited for someone with a family. It has a large, spacious trunk area, seats five people comfortably, and has decent gas mileage. The design isn't the most stylish thing in the world, of course, but someone looking at a car like this should have function in mind over fashion.
Story
This car is great for packing you children's things in the back when they go off to college - I've never had to use a Uhal or anything, just fold down the back seats, and all their things should fit!
Pros
The car does not need your attention often. Subaru has outstanding workmanship and they will build you a car that really lasts a while. I believe I've had mine for over 10 years now and I think I can count the number of times I needed to have it serviced on one hand. The car is spacious in the front and in the trunk area.
Cons
Although the back seats can be reclined forward to make room for things in the back, the backs do not go fully down; rather, they lay at something like a 30 degree angle. Makes room enough for things like construction materials, but could've been better. Given that it is an older model, the audio system doesn't include anything recent and fancy like AUX in or Bluetooth. Mine had only CD and Radio inputs. Wasn't such a big deal for me. There is a cup holder on the back of the console that can be accessed by the back seats, but its positioning and usage area really suboptimal, because they... (more)
