The Subaru Outback 2.5L is one of the best vehicles on the road for dependability, safety, and overall reliability. The engine has enough power to get into and out of traffic while getting great gas mileage in the city and on the highway. The cabin is quiet and comfortable while having ample legroom in the front and in the rear seats. The cargo space is abundant for a family of four who travels often. The roof rack is sturdy enough to carry a clamshell cargo box and a ski rack. The off-road capabilities of this model are more than adequate to be very adept to conquer. The handling of this vehicle makes it easy to handle the most curvy roads with ease. The cost for this vehicle is a great value for the price.
Story
It was purchased in Hawaii which did not seem to be a likely home for a Subaru. Then we moved to Boston and it felt like we were finally in the Subaru's playground in the winter.
Pros
Pros: - Ample Power - Quiet Cabin - Great gas mileage
Cons
Cons: - Infotainment system is not as user friendly as other makes and models.

The 2004 Subaru Outback is a great car and is still holding up in 2018. Being 14 years old, it is expected to have some rattles and battle wounds. The past few years it has needed about 2,000 dollars in repairs, but again, this is expected. It is approaching 200,000 miles, and it is still running strong. I think it could last another 2-3 years. I regularly take 8-hour trips with this car, and it rides decently smooth on the open highway. On the country roads, it is louder than most cars though.
Story
One fun experience in this car was driving to Texas for a long road trip. It was about 10 hours, and I was with a friend in the car. We were blasting music the whole time, and it was a blast.
Pros
The pros are that the car runs smoothly on open highways when speed is about 60-70 miles per hour. It is quiet when it's moving in a straight direction at a high speed. It has almost 200,000 miles, and it could probably go another 100,000 miles.
Cons
The cons are that since this car is approaching 14 years old, it has need repairs recently. Also, the engine is leaking oil, and for this to be repaired, it would cost about 2,000 dollars to repair this. Some belts in the car has needed to be tightened, and there is rust developing on the engine.

Nothing made this place the best. It was a terrible experience all around, and I'm not sure why I bought a car from them.

Well, they had cars. Only one of the model I was interested in though. And it got sold out from under me. But they did find a replacement within the week. My sales associate was nice, naive and simple but worked to get me what I wanted. The finance guy was super too.
