1998 Toyota 4Runner - Man's best friend
I was skeptical at first when purchased this vehicle, I heard it was very reliable but I really wanted a Jeep. I am so glad I chose the 4Runner. It has been an incredible vehicle to own. I have put about 70k miles on it, and besides regular maintenance, I have only had to change the alternator. I just passed 200k miles and the 4Runner shows no signs of giving up. The paint has faded but I still love the way it looks. Comfort and fuel economy are not it's strong suits, but in every other way the 4Runner prevails. The practicality of this vehicle is endless. Tons of room for luggage, home depot runs, dogs, it doesn't matter, once the seats fold down you could fit just about anything in it. The back glass is one of my favorite things, it rolls down into the back hatch so it doesn't matter... (more)
Story
My favorite time with the 4Runner is on camping trips. One time we went camping and got caught in a severe thunderstorm. We abandoned our tent and hopped in the 4Runner. Our tent didn't survive, but we were comfy and safe all night!
Pros
Reliability. Looks cool. 4wd is great. Can fit almost anything within reason. Visibility.
Cons
Fuel economy. Seats/comfort are just average. Oil filter is hard to get to.
2004 Toyota 4Runner - The 4Runner is everything you could need in a car. It will safely transport your family to events, off-road and everything in between.
I have a 4Runner that I love. It handles great and has lots of room for my family. It also looks great and sits above regular cars. The stereo has lots of features that allow me to pick what music I want. The seats are a soft supple captain's chair . It adjusts to many different settings. Starting it is easy you just put in the key. The engine revs, and you can feel the power in the engine. The 4Runner has excellent pulling capability as well. You can pull your pontoon through a muddy field with little to no problem. The only thing I dislike about it is that it started rusting very early so I may have to replace several things.
Story
Took the 4Runner out to Cape Lookout Park and drove on a beach. It was slippery at first, and we had to let air out of the tires. We still slid a little but had much better traction. It handled very well on the backroads that were behind the beach. I preferred driving directly on the beach. It was most enjoyable, and you could take advantage of the wonderful view in the wrap around glass. ... (more)
Pros
I love the handling. I love the comfort. I love the gas mileage. I like the look. I like the safety factor. I like the lift off the ground. I love the power behind the motor. I love the storage space.
Cons
Rusting.

2008 Toyota Matrix - Rick Hendrick Toyota Scion Fayetteville
They were very polite. I didn't feel pressured to buy, although I did buy a car from them.
There was a good selection. The dealership seemed clean and professional. There is a good service department that never gave us any trouble. I had to get a little bit of maintenance a couple of times and it seemed reasonable and quick both times.
I really like the car that I bought and I'm glad that I purchased a car from them.
2010 Toyota Corolla - Carmax Fayetteville
CarMax had a nice environment. They were willing to work with people that had bad credit like myself. With a good down payment I was able to get a car. When other dealerships had said no. I went around to several dealerships around Fayetteville and was able to get a car from here within 2 days. I was able to look at a couple of cars and was able to make a choice from there.
