I liked it because it had the freedom to navigate like a big truck but had much better MPG. It had a wider body than the version built a couple years later. It's been reliable, and I haven't had any major problems with it. It has four-wheel drive, a sunroof, a retractable back window, and leather seats - among many other things. It rarely ever gets stuck, only have to use four-wheel drive in a sticky situation to get out. It can accelerate like a sports car and is very maneuverable. Can go awhile without having to change oil, tires are sizable enough for off-roading, and seats five people comfortably. The back seats lowered combined with the area behind the seats make it easy to haul things. It can save other cars from situations where they get stuck and don't have four wheel drive.

4Runner is one of the last mid-size SUVs. This car is great for drivers who need a 5000-lb. tow rating or who spend weekends off-roading. On the road, the big surprise is how smooth the 4Runner TRD off road is, offering a comfortable ride even with the off-road tires; however, there are noticeable amounts of wind and tire noise on the highway. Like many off-road-oriented SUVs, the 4Runner TRD ProÕs steering is slow, and it doesnÕt like to take corners too quickly.

2011 Toyota 909
Well, it wasn't great this time around. I bought my previous car here and had a great experience. It was clean, and the customer service was fantastic. The experience of buying this 2011 was terrible. I almost took the car back the same day I got it, because they hadn't fixed the brakes like they had promised. After 5 hours of haggling, they had me take it to the Toyota dealership down the road, who fixed the brakes, and then I took the receipt back to CarMax for reimbursement. I probably will not go there again to get a car if the same guy is managing their repair shop. In addition to the brake problem, they messed up my car registration. I had my original handicap plates from my previous car and wanted to put them on my new car. They told me they couldn't do that. Instead they ordered a new plate, which made the state think I owned two cars, both my old one and the new one. I had to go back to the dealership to get a letter from them saying they had messed it up in order for the state not to charge me two separate car taxes.

The service was wonderful, Vic (dealer) is such a great business man. He gives you honest answers and is very friendly. He makes the customer feel like more than just a dollar sign. He's also trusted to sell only cars that he knows will work right. He doesn't buy cars that don't run and put them on his lot for the customer to find out a week after buying. He's very honest. I appreciated that. If there's anything wrong with the car after buying, he makes sure to stick to his word and pay to have it fixed.
