I purchased the 2001 Toyota Camry as used in 2005 with 79,000 miles on it. I have put an additional 100,000 miles on it. The car rides exceptionally well and is very comfortable. There are no interior rattles despite the 180,000 miles the car has been driven and it still looks great. We have had a couple repairs on door handles, both interior and exterior. The door handles seem to have been of poor quality. Overall the car's interior and body are of exceptional quality and has held up well. The timing belt has been changed twice, once as maintenance and another time when the water pump went out. Other repairs have been to sensors that would cause the check engine light to come on. The car has never run hot. It has had regular oil and filter changes. I do believe this was a big contributor to the performance of this vehicle. The fuel mileage is great, approximately 30 miles to the gallon. This car has been great for vacations and I would not hesitate to still take it for a long distance. It's been that dependable. The trunk is nice and roomy and the back seat is very comfortable as well. I intend to keep this car for a few more years. Auto mechanic has commented this is a good car. I would definitely agree and intend to get another Toyota Camry when the time comes.

I would say that, all in all, the Camry is a good car, but I am not sure that I would buy it again. It handles well on the road and provides me with a comfortable ride. The gas mileage is good which is one of the main reasons that I bought the car. I feel that the Camry is easy to park because it is somewhat compact, as before the Camry I had a Tahoe which was bigger and harder to park. The Camry has many features that are good like Bluetooth, navigation system and usb ports. I have not had to spend a lot of money on maintenance of the car other than routine oil changes and tires. The car is very low to the ground and is a smaller vehicle, so I do not feel as safe in it if I was to get in an accident. The Camry's paint has not held up as well as expected as I have several areas on the front where the pain has chipped due to bugs getting stuck on. The Camry is not much of a prestigious car, and it does not get much attention from the eyes of others.
