Toyota Camry Lawrenceburg, KY OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

The Camry is a dependable vehicle.
I like the smooth driving experience with the Camry. It is a very dependable car for road trips or even just trips around town. I dislike that it is not as good on gas as I would like it to be. I like how roomy it is and how it is equipped with many extra features. I wish it came with GPS navigation and a push to start function would be nice also. I previously owned a Mazda 3 which was excellent on gas and it would be nice if Toyota could make the Camry get more miles to the gallon. The Camry performs very well, but it is not made for Kentucky winters when there is ice and deep snow. It handles well in rain and regular weather conditions, but it lacks the ability to maneuver, especially when backing, when there is a fair amount of snow on the ground. Overall I would have to say my Camry ranks 7/10 in overall performance.

Wonderful reliable car
The Toyota Camry is a great car. It looks sleek and feels it to. It has great gas mileage and saves so much money in the long run, compared to many other options.

Started out great
For the first several years, this car was wonderful! It got good gas mileage and rarely needed anything more than regular maintenance. In recent months, however, it has started burning oil. In researching the problem, I have discovered that this is a problem with the engine in this year and model of the Camry, and that Toyota has known about it for several years. They did not issue a recall, presumably because it would cost them too much to fix the issue. What was once a great car has become a problem. I am in the process of writing/emailing/calling Toyota to get them to fix my car. I feel that they are responsible for fixing what is obviously defective workmanship. I had planned on keeping this car for at least another two or three years. Until it started burning oil, it was comfortable, drove well, got good gas mileage, and looked nice. It still does those things, I guess, but the oil burning problem has understandably left me feeling considerably less warm toward my car and Toyota in general. I am hoping they will work with me to resolve the problem, as I have always been a fan of the company and their cars.

I found Tim French online because I was specifically looking for a Corolla, near my hometown of Louisville, for a reasonable price. I drove to Radcliff, which is around 45 minutes away, test drove the car, and promptly began to negotiate. Negotiation was easy, and then financing and the entire process were made incredibly easy for me. I am a first time car buyer, so this was very important for me.
