Dependable, reliable
I was not excited about my car at first since I wanted a truck. Over time it has grown on me and I have made it my own. I have done a lot of traveling with this car.

Very reliable.
My Toyota Corolla has lasted me almost 10 years now, and I bought it used in 2009. It has over 100,000 miles now, but has only needed very minor repairs, such as a new battery, tires, spark plugs, etc. It has never broken down on me (knock on wood), and has travelled across the United States several times. The cars handles very well and the brakes last a long time. I like it's small size, because I am terrible at parallel parking. Given that the car is so reliable, it is surprising how affordable it is. Many cars are much more expensive, but they do not last as long and have a lot of problems. Of course, the Toyota Corolla is not exactly a luxury vehicle. It is very plain overall. The radio keeps malfunctioning, and there is also a recall on the airbags which is very annoying because I keep having to take it in to get that fixed. There is not really any advanced technology in the car. No GPS, no heated or automatic seats, no TV monitors, etc. The clock is also really hard to change because you have to press the button down in a certain way or it just switches to show you the temperature.
