I used to drive a 1996 Toyota Corolla. When it started to go the way of the dodo, I immediately began searching for another Corolla. When I found the 2004 LE, I fell in love all over again. Toyota just knows how to make a car that is a dream for a new car buyer, and a delight for those of us who want the new car functions with a lower price tag.
Story
I always love taking my car to the car wash after a long trip to the beach during the summer or camping in the woods in the fall. Vacuuming up all of the sand or crushed leaves just reminds me how far this car has taken us.
Pros
The wood grain interior is stunning, the seats are that perfect blend of firm support yet comfortable, and the handling of the car is smooth as silk, even at nearly 150,000 miles. The automatic headlights turning on when the lighting outside is dim is one of those things you don't realize you appreciate until you're driving at dusk or through a long tunnel. There's also ample trunk space for hockey gear, vacation luggage, and the every so often massive haul of groceries. Great gas mileage has been one of the most taken for granted aspects of this car--one I often forget about until I'm rid... (more)
Cons
If I had to pick a negative about this car it would be the wind sound when driving at high speeds. I find myself drifting my hand to the window controls to make sure all of the windows are closed. Other than that, one of the small compartment's hinges popped out on one side so the little door won't close. I just shrugged my shoulders at that. It's that much easier to get to your CDs.

The car performed well for the first 4 years. After that I started to wonder if it was really a Toyota. Lots of quality problems that you wouldn't normally associate with a Toyota at all. We take good care of our cars and one of my kids said it was a piece of junk. She was right.
Story
When it ran well it was fun to drive on back roads.
Pros
Gas mileage. Good commuter vehicle sporty
Cons
-Not solidly constructed. -Driver door handle broke at the six year mark.. Led to problems unlocking and getting into the vehicle. -Problems with fuel system. -Both real window motors broke before the car had 100,000 miles on it.

Very helpful associate, helped us find the right car for us. The building itself was lovely and the financing was quite good. Purchased a while ago though, so this might have changed.

They really have a great service department that help not only make things easy but takes the time to explain what is going on and why.
