The 2013 Toyota Corolla is the Perfect First Car
The 2013 Toyota Corolla was the first car I ever owned and I got it during my first year of college. It's perfect for living in a suburban or city area and does great when driving both in town and on the highway. I think it's a very cute car, but it isn't so tiny that I can't fit my friends when we want to go out. It gets good gas mileage and I always have to spend less on gas than my friends with trucks or larger cars. I have never had a maintenance issue with this car and I take it in about twice a year for basic service (oil change, tire rotation, etc.). I was hit by another driver making an illegal right turn on red and the car handled the impact very well. I barely even moved in my seat even though my car got pushed onto a median and I was still able to drive it home and then to the dealership, where it was quickly serviced and is as good as new. I feel very safe in my car and I would recommend it to anyone. I think Toyota made a very high quality car with the 2013 Toyota Corolla (and later models, which I have been able to drive here and there).

Long-lasting value
I purchased my Toyota Corolla in 2010 when I needed a very reliable vehicle to drive back and forth, an hour each way, to my teaching job. When I was deciding which brand to purchase, a friend had a Toyota Corolla and raved about the reliability and gas mileage, so I decided to take a test drive. I was surprised at how comfortable it was, for being a slightly smaller model than the Toyota Camry. After driving the car, I was impressed that it handled well, and there was a zero percent annual percentage rate offer being advertised by the local dealership, so I got very serious about making a purchase. I weighed the pros and cons and purchased my Corolla. Now, seven years later, I am so glad that I did!
