I purchased my Toyota Corolla in 2010 when I needed a very reliable vehicle to drive back and forth, an hour each way, to my teaching job. When I was deciding which brand to purchase, a friend had a Toyota Corolla and raved about the reliability and gas mileage, so I decided to take a test drive. I was surprised at how comfortable it was, for being a slightly smaller model than the Toyota Camry. After driving the car, I was impressed that it handled well, and there was a zero percent annual percentage rate offer being advertised by the local dealership, so I got very serious about making a purchase. I weighed the pros and cons and purchased my Corolla. Now, seven years later, I am so glad that I did!
Story
Surprisingly, this car has enough power to pull a small trailer. Once, I had a friend who needed to move a couch and neither of us had access to a truck. I had a small hitch put on the back, and we rented a trailer for the day and were able to easily haul the couch across town. We got some strange looks, but I felt really independent knowing that if I needed to, I could rent a trailer for a da... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing about my Corolla is the fact that in seven years of owning it, I have paid almost nothing in repairs, only standard maintenance like tires, oil and brakes. I am not a car person and am not comfortable doing maintenance on my vehicle, so this was a very important factor for me. My Corolla has also saved me a ton of money on gas. With prices climbing, I reliably get 30 miles to the gallon, even seven years after purchase. I feel great when I pull up to the gas pump, and it doesn't break the bank. I also like that the Corolla is comfortable to drive. The seats are very comfo... (more)
Cons
I purchased the base model, which does not have electric windows or door locks. In hindsight, I wish I would have purchased an upgraded model. There have been times when my hands have been full, and I would have appreciated the convenience. The truck of this vehicle is somewhat smaller than the Camry, and I thought I might feel hindered by it, but other than some large camping items, I have been able to haul almost every thing that I want with it. Finally, I can't say that the car is very stylish. It's not. It's a very basic-looking car and won't turn any heads, but if you need something r... (more)

As someone who spends a lot of time in the car, finding a vehicle that had both comfort and great fuel economy was very important to me. This car fits the bill in both aspects. I was a little apprehensive about moving to a smaller car, but the test drive totally sold me. Not a single major maintenance issue since day one, only minor issues that were easily corrected. I found it surprisingly roomy inside for a smaller vehicle, at least in the front seats. The rear seats are a little cramped for passengers, but since I don't typically drive with more than one passenger it's not really a problem for me. Living in Texas with outrageous summer temperatures, one of my favorite aspects of the car is the air conditioner. I can start the car and the A/C and the interior is comfortable in... (more)
Story
We went on vacation, and packed everything we thought we would need. We drove there and had a great time. Almost too much fun, as we came back with so much more than we left with. We thought there was no way it would be possible to fit everything into the trunk, but much to our surprise with a little finesse everything fit with room to spare!
Pros
The number one pro for me is fuel economy. At nearly 40 miles per gallon, this is the most fuel efficient vehicle I've ever owned. The trunk is surprisingly spacious as well. I love the sound system, and of course the awesome air conditioning system!
Cons
The backseat is a bit cramped. The HD radio has a tendency to cut in and out or have a hard time connecting to HD stations. The tire pressure monitoring system is a great feature but is almost too sensitive; it triggers every time the temperature changes.

We were referred to this dealership by my father because he had bought several of his cars here. I believe he had bought his last 4 or 5 cars here. He referred us to a particular salesperson also who no longer works here. The salesperson took care of us by helping us get the payment we wanted. He also walked us through some things we did not understand and helped us with trading our other vehicle in. When it was time to sign the paperwork he handed us off to other people in the contract department and everyone was very helpful and made sure we understood what we were signing. They also asked us if we wanted to sign up for a gap insurance which we did and I was very glad we did when I had to have surgery and go on medical leave.
