I love this vehicle!
This is the best vehicle I've ever had - I've owned it for 14 years, and it only has 105,000 miles on it. It's done everything I've needed it to do - moving from house to house, long, multi-state road tips, car camping, etc. It has enough space for an air mattress and my stand-up paddleboard. I take it out all the time. Not only does it have power in the front dash to charge things, there is also one in the back. That is perfect for inflating my inflatable paddleboard and kayak or charging a device. I would buy this vehicle over and over again. I just wish they didn't change the styles so much. They are too big for me now, but given Toyota's reputation for going 300,000 plus miles, I may never need another car! It's never failed to be comfortable on long road trips, and it has plenty of get up and go for running errands or just getting around town. It has lots of room to have passengers, even a third seat. It worked well as an Uber car. The only things I've done are the recommended routine mileage maintenance, normal oil changes, brakes and tires. Everything else has performed flawlessly. I think the resale value is still very high, I've heard of a lot of people looking to purchase one.

GREAT FAMILY CAR
This is a great family vehicle. We bought it to replace our 2001 Toyota 4Runner. It has approx. 150,000 miles and runs like new (aside from a few oil drips). The mileage is fairly low for city driving, but does much better on long road trips. We never feel concerned that our car will have major issues while we're on the road.
We fit our two young children in the back seat, and a small adult can fit between their car seats. This car also has third row seating, however we don't use that, as our trunk space is mostly reserved for the dog.
This is a super dependable smaller sized SUV.

Long lasting vehicle.
This car has been in the family since 2000 and although it's changed hands to other family members and has driven all over the place it is still going strong. The interior is very nice looking and comfortable. The seats have held up well and it still feels like it does from the day it was purchased. Like a lot of other Japanese made vehicles this thing is designed to last. The only thing I am not a big fan of is the air condition and heat controls, they can be a little hard to get use to at first but once you drive it for a little you will remember where everything is and what does what. I also like the height at which the vehicles sits at, it is high up like a SUV should be but not so high up that it is hard to get in and out of. The way it drives it great too, it handles nicely like a car and not big and clunky like a big van handles. This makes a great first vehicle because it is older and cheaper than brand new, and It has nice crash protection because of its size. I like to go fishing so I personally like the fact that it has 4 wheel drive in case I get it stuck in a muddy parking area so I don't have to get out and fiddle around with throwing sticks and junk under the wheel to get it traction, I personally never got it stuck like that but its nice to know that if I am in that situation I can just flip a switch and get it unstuck quickly with its 4 wheel drive.
