So straight off, with the average speed limit of 50 to 65mph on Northern Chicago roads, a massive killer performance car is not really required. Focusing on the solid, well engineered, and FUEL EFFICIENT car, my Toyota Prius is it! In fact, it's the second Prius that I've owned and won't be my last. There is very little to dislike about the car if you are not a speed freak mega-status type person. The quality, as would be expected from Toyota is superb. No rattles or shakes, and superior workmanship throughout. Performance is solid given the engine size, and fuel economy is superb. The car requires very little other than regular service inspections. I look after my car and my car responds well to that. Oh, and handling is a breeze even in the snow and ice.

My 2010 Prius is one of the best cars I have ever purchased. The overall style is fantastic; it has an almost spaceship-like feel, with many buttons and screens. The interior is made from recycled plastic and is textured for semi rough cleaning. I typically “play” with the gas mileage, for instances I try to hardly press the gas and try to coast as much as I possibly can. Braking is the same, there are air brakes in the Prius which allows to slow down without using your brake pads! I do not like the current navigation system and it is outrageously expensive to update the maps. I just downloaded a free app on my phone and the navigation is now obsolete. I have experienced brake lurching when I'm braking and going over a bump, but I guess that is a normal thing as the dealers have not said anything or fixed anything. One of the best parts is picking up a big item and the sales guy being super impressed you fit it in a Prius.
