Used Toyota Prius for Sale in Whitehall, MI

I bought this car used with over 120,000 miles on it and it was still running as if it was brand new. Having researched these cars before buying, I knew that the hybrid battery could go bad at any time. Unfortunately this came true, but after a simple $1000 battery exchange she is running brand new once again. One thing that really surprised me with this car was the storage space. I do a lot of out door activities and by folding down the back seat I can fit a ton of camping supplies and even my Trek FX 7.2 Bicycle. I have attached multiple roof racks and trunk racks without problem. One thing that stinks about this car is that it does not have an MP3 input jack, instead it has a tape deck. This is just a result of the year it was built, but it is still a minor inconvenience. One thing that goes without saying is the amazing gas mileage this car gets. Even with as many miles this car has I still average around 45 mpg each tank. It is a great commuter car and a reliable car to buy used if you want something affordable that won't have many issues.

It routinely exceeds its 48 mpg highway rating when fully loaded with my family of four, our luggage and gear in the cargo area on road trips in summer heat using the A/C or in the cold using the heating system. We have had no mechanical issues or repairs -- merely regular wear and tear replacements like the tires and 12-volt battery over nearly six years and 66,000 miles to date of ownership.
