I've had my Sienna for over a year now, and it's my first minivan. I bought it because it was the only minivan that offered all wheel drive. But ,now that I've had it for a while, I also appreciate the smooth and quiet ride that it offers, and the spacious interior. The engine offers more than adequate power, as well. The kids always seem a little surprised when I hit the gas to pull out into traffic, and the van gets up and goes.
Story
We use our Sienna for going to Bills games also. It's a great vehicle for tailgating at games.
Pros
Lots and lots of cup holders. I like to have a drink nearby me when I'm driving, and it's really convenient to have a holder for my coffee, and my water, and a soda, etc. Lots of leg room in the first and second row seats. We have taken our Sienna on a few long trips with as many as six people, and everybody seemed comfortable. Plenty of storage space as well, even with the third row seat in place. I've also used the van in a purely cargo capacity, and with the second row seats removed, it could easily haul 4x8 sheets of building material in the back.
Cons
The all wheel drive wasn't as helpful as I thought. We've had Subaru's with all wheel drive, and you really notice the difference. But, with the Sienna, the all wheel drive is a lot more subtle. I get the feeling that I wouldn't have known the difference if I were driving a FWD Sienna. Also, the AWD Sienna comes with run flat tires and no spare tire. This sounds great, until you have to replace the tires. Run flats are very expensive. Gas mileage is only so-so, as you would expect for a mini-van. We average about 22 mpg, with a 50/50 mix of city and highway.

The mini van is big, endless leg and arm room. Seats 8 and we have put that to the test for wine tours, the seats fold down or come out so I can fit 8 foot lumber in the back or 10 foot lumber if I slide it under the front seats, ride is amazing, gas mileage could be better I'm only seeing about 16 city but 24 highway. It has 4 disc brakes so the rims and brakes are easy to clean. It looks better than competing mini vans. It can be a bit pricey if you don't really lay into the salesman and bargain. It has slightly less acceleration than the town and country, handles awesome, I feel very safe driving it. Blind spots are minimal and backup camera helps allot. This vehicle can fit a family of 5 with the back row folded down and we can stack an amazing amount of gear for camping. It can al... (more)
