Fun little car, emphasis on little.
The old new Beetles are fun little cars, though they're really too small for more than three people, or two, if you buy groceries. They handle beautifully, for one thing. And the gas mileage is excellent, 35/mpg in my car on surface streets. They're also just delightful to look at, unlike a lot of cars. On the other hand, they're small. This is not a car for somebody who does the majority of their family's driving or has small children. Getting in the back is a process. Also, they're very low to the ground, which can be uncomfortable for tall people.

The salesman didn't pester you. They let you walk around the lot without them being right there. They were very helpful when asked specific questions. They were willing to negotiate on price. They were willing to help with financing.
