Pros
Big trunk for a small car. Gets really good gas mileage. Stylish led headlamps outlines. Plenty of power.
Cons
Transmission is jerky when at low speeds or parking. Be careful not to run into another car or curb from jerky transmission. Cloth seats have weird adjustment levers. They work but are not intuitive and take a ton of work to operate. Unable to turn off running light while key is on. Cheap paint -- very thin coating and easy to rub off.

I really like the way the Jetta handles and the fact that it has great gas mileage. It drives smoothly and I never fishtail in rain. It has a great audio system and the braking is quick and powerful but not to the point of being aggravating. The pain also doesn't peel the way that my Corolla did, so that is a definite bonus. I would definitely recommend and purchase this vehicle again. It likely will last for over a decade and will have minimal wear and tear. I would recommend it to a friend or family member in a heartbeat. One of, if not THE, most reliable car I've ever had. It also doesn't have the poor tendency of hubcaps falling off which many other sedans have. In short, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Story
I drove up to wine country (Santa Ynez) in this vehicle. I also drove to New Mexico and Arizona in this vehicle. It held up very well the entire trip and I never had any problems with overheating or melting windshield wipers like I have in the past.
Pros
I only have to fill up with gas once every two weeks, the paint doesn't peel, the audio system is excellent, the driving is very smooth and the vehicle handles well. No fish tailing in the rain and it stops quickly without sliding. The vehicle is also very sturdy and well built. There is ample trunk space for groceries and other things.
Cons
Changing the clock is a pain in the ass- it doesn't update for daylight savings automatically which is very annoying and it is unnecessarily difficult to adjust the clock settings.
