I am the proud owner of a 1997 Passat (B4), actually the fourth owner to be exact. I really wanted something unique for my first car and after careful consideration, I ended up with "Bernard". My car was still in amazing shape, with only about 65,000 miles on its original engine. For a car that old, that was almost unimaginable. When I took a test drive and felt how smooth and effortless the ride was, I was sold!

I really enjoyed the car! I liked the way it looked and the size was great for what I needed at the time. Volkswagens have a distinctive look that I found attractive in a car. I also felt that their standard models have a lot of high end features that you don't find in other brands. However, since it's a foreign made care, replacement parts are also foreign made and almost impossible to find at car repair stores. Almost all repairs had to be completed at a dealership to ensure the right parts would be used, installed, and warrantied.
