The 2002 Volkswagen Passat GLX is an absolutely incredible vehicle with loads of features. With a powerful V6 engine, it is both great on gas yet has enough power to get out of tight situations in a flash. The handling is superb and everything seems so in sync as far as the electronics in the car. Inside and out, it is a smooth, classy looking vehicle, from the spectacular blue and red display lights inside to the simple yet genius setup for the exterior lights and blinkers. This is all around an amazing car to own!
Story
There was a huge blizzard with whiteout conditions when I was driving back from class one night. I thought I would never make it and slip off the road as I saw many people in front of me do. But the car powered through the snow and ice, traction control worked like a charm, and the fog lights lets me see the lines just enough to keep me safe.
Pros
Great on gas. Plenty of power. Sleek styling. Tons of features that were way ahead of their time, such as the passenger mirror automatically adjusting to the curb when the vehicle is in reverse! Great sound system.

Volkswagen Passat is very fuel efficient yet performs well on the highway, especially if you need to pass a slower driver. Its interior is spacious and comfortable with all of the accessories easily within reach. Trunk space is epic which is important for me as an outdoor enthusiast. Very reliable with no issues and sexy looking to boot!
Story
Locals beeping at me because they don't like the football team of the city I bought the car from, until I officially put plates on it.
Pros
Favorite things about the Passat are the trunk space and the ability to go from auto to manual transmission for when you feel a little naughty.
Cons
Repairs are more costly but maintenance is rare on the Passat. Also, it does better on more expensive gas and synthetic oil which again costs more money.

I wanted a VW and these guys most definitely had them. When you're in Racine WI and looking for a new or used VW, I'd recommend checking out the VW dealer. When it comes to knowledgeable guys about VW cars, you don't get much better than the VW dealer. Didn't make much sense to go anywhere else for my new car. Walked in, met with the guys, discussed what I wanted, boom, that's a sale. What more could I want?
