There are not many cars built even today that can match the driving fun and parts available for upgrade, utility, and reliability that the GSR hatchback offers. Add good fuel economy even by 2013 standards for a sports car category. For 16 years it's been a serious winner, and I can see why thieves are the biggest detriment to owning one. Shifter/clutch are light feeling even when traffic gets heavy. This car does not let you feel like it's a liability. The best places are roads with numerous curves to exploit the " handling on rails " feeling. My tachometer redlines at 8,000 rpm so I get the feeling of F1 performance from a car costing $20K when it was new. Basic interior.

We have owned this car since it was new. It has been the most reliable I have ever owned. In the time we have had it their have been almost no issues. All we have had to do is buy tires, replace the battery and get a brake job. The only thing that it needs at this point is a new muffler. It is amazing how well it has done. In fact she is out driving it as I write this. It also rides and drives well for its age. It gets great gas mileage. As I have obviously stated the cost of ownership has been outstanding.

The vehicle is a great car. It combines Honda reliability along with some luxurious features Acura is well known for. The car has great power for a stock vehicle and it is one of Acura's most fun vehicles produced to date. The leather seats are a really nice feature of the vehicle. The GSR model is fantastic performance wise.
