A brawny, 310-horsepower supercharged V6 engine and a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission are available. This model has a 420-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 engine and seven-speed manual transmission. Audi A6 models with a turbo diesel V6 engine is efficient. The A6 has agile handling, a comfortable ride, and strong brakes. Models with an available sport suspension or larger wheels are more athletic, but they have stiffer rides. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all V6-powered models come with all-wheel drive.

Car or dealer?
Decided I needed a new used car , went to this seedy dealer and bought an Audi 2006 A6 Quattro 3.2, now the car drives great but the number of problems since the purchase have been more than a hassle to deal with. At first the only problems were a couple of random noises here and there, but as the days came and went the problems became substantial. The car makes horrid noises when braking and turning to the right and left. Overall I'd like to think it is the dealer that is to blame for this beautiful car not running like it should. I would recommend it to people.

Money Pit
I hate that I have to take it to the dealer to get anything electrical fixed. It really is a luxury car, but I was forced to purchase it or be without transportation through a snowy Maine winter. It frequently develops electrical problems that drain the battery overnight. It will cost at least $1500 to locate and fix the problem. That's half of what I paid for it. It's a ridiculously expensive piece of rusting trash.
Audi’s A6 gets a complete redesign for 2019. While the exterior looks much like the outgoing model, an industry-leading interior more than takes up the slack, and a hearty turbo V6 keeps things interesting.
