Unique Sporty Coupe
The last generation Honda Prelude is a gifted, though eccentric, sports coupe. Developed through previous generations as a test-bed for Honda technology, this last iteration continues the trend, showcasing the ATTS superior handling system (Type-SH) driven by the spunky 200HP H22A motor. In addition to the vehicle's performance, the angled looks of the car body has always been an attractive sight to see. Unfortunately though, the car is simply a coupe, and a small one at that. Practicality suffers, as the backseats are nearly useless, and usable space within the car is fairly low overall. If you can get past the practicality issues, the car drives and handles quite well, and has always been fun for me.

Sleek and practical
I feel as though the build of the Prelude is solid as the infrastructure can take a few bumps and bruises but continues on like a champion. It has over 180,000 miles, and I have never had any major issues aside from little parts here and there, which are expected from an older vehicle. The acceleration is quite responsive, and it feels smooth driving with regular maintenance. Since it is a Honda, it is quite reliable as I have had it for over four years with very minor issues to this point. The fuel it takes is premium, but for the top model of its class it makes sense. The outside style is a bit boxy, but that is my preferred look. The front end is a bit longer with cube styled headlights, and the rear is a bit shorter with a small spoiler. I like the look because it is similar to the S2000, but a bit more practical in terms of affordability and style. For a two-door car, I felt that the space inside was quite adequate, and I was able to fit a number of items at one time. I am an avid snowboarder, and I was able to fit my snowboard, bindings, boots, and accessories inside the interior without having to adjust anything.

One of a kind
I purchased a Honda Prelude because I was looking for something with great steering wheel control and I got it. The car is low to the ground, and it drives pretty smooth. The body is wide, and it only has two doors, but that gives the car a unique style that I truly enjoyed. The gas per gallon was also great, it was only a four-cylinder car but with a vetch engine, five speed...so it got great speed but not with all the gas expense. The fact that it was five speed also helped that, on highway, I was sometimes able to get up to 30 miles per gallon, which isn't bad for commuters. The interior of the car was okay. There was options between leather and not, and I chose to find a used car with no leather seats. I personally think that I made the right choice because being such a small car. I don't see leather seats being the greatest to seat on in a hot car. It also only had two doors, which to me just meant that people could ruin the leather seats much faster while climbing inside. The car did had a sunroof, so that was great! The car definitely had its pros and cons, but overall, it was a great car to own and loads of fun to ride in!
