It is not a very fast car. The interior is small and cramped. There is little trunk space. Fortunately this is a convertible and the top can be dropped as long as it is not raining to eliminate claustrophobia. The car seems unsafe, my gramma got in a fender bender in it and her arm was broken.
Overall it has held together mildly well for such an old car. The transmission is finally going out on it. The convertible soft top has a few minor leaks when it is raining. A lot has been replaced under the hood like sensors, fuel filters, etc.

Great car!
The Miata is a wonderful car. Everyone I have ever talked to says, "don't get rid of that car," and I agree. For pure driving pleasure, this car is hard to beat. I doubt I will ever sell this car. I would recommend this car to anyone who asks and would highly recommend it as a second car to driving enthusiasts. Get one. They are great cars and very inexpensive to drive.

Sporty and compact
The 1995 Mazda MX-5, better known as the Miata is one of the best handling compact cars ever made. It has been in production for over 20 years and while the body style and specs have changed slightly, it still offers razors-edge handling, good looks and excellent fuel economy. Older models can be found on the used car market for pennies on the dollar and can be restored to almost new condition relatively inexpensively. If you are looking for a great handling car, the MX5 is a winner.
