A pretty good vehicle!
I like the interior style of the vehicle. The buttons are big and easy to press. I do not like that you cannot show the time on the LED, but rather have to read it off an analog clock on the dashboard. The middle console is large and convenient. The cup holders can be pulled out or pushed back in for a "clean" look. There are also a couple more compartments for storage. The heating and air have both gone out but have been fairly easy fixes. The gas mileage is definitely not good. The tires are very expensive to replace. The vehicle provides a smooth ride and has lots of space between seats so that everyone can be comfortable. The locks on the back doors will not unlock when using the key fob about 85% of the time. The acceleration and brakes work great and smooth. I feel safe in this vehicle between the roomy interior and smooth brakes.

Mercury Monterey minivan.
I chose the vehicle because it had adjustable brake pedals. The interior leather trim and heated seats added to the comfort. It road a lot more like a car vs. a truck, and had a smooth ride. I also liked the fold-down "tailgate" seat in the back. It had a lot of cargo space and the seats in the back were removable.

Long life and large storage.
The cars style is very basic for a van. Total of four doors, 1 driver/passenger and then two automatic sliding doors for the back. It originally had front and rear sensors that would beep whenever something was nearby. After 5 years they stopped working. The read windows could be opened from the front with the push of a button. However, the batteries have been known to dye for those windows so we keep them closed now. They work great for getting hot air out of the van. The car is very comfortable. The front seats (driver/passenger) have seat warmers which is great during the winter months. All the seats are light tan leather. There is plenty of room for all passengers. The rear seat can get folded down into the floor and give a ton of space for materials. The middle two seats can fold up and be taken out of the vehicle to give even more space. The vehicle can fit 7 people - 6 comfortably. All of the seats are adjustable and can be reclined except for the very back 3. It is one big seat that can be folded down. The van never has made any weird noises. After 10 years we did have to replace the battery and belt. Blind spots aren't bad. The front and rear sensors were great when they worked though. It wasn't in the shop often - just for regular oil checks and tire rotations. Overall it was fun to drive and it ended up getting driven by everyone in the family. We've had to use it at least ten times to move people in/out of apartments and to college - It has really come in handy. The acceleration and braking weren't super sensitive - just typical, I guess. Handling isn't amazing... it is a larger vehicle. I feel safe driving it. It has front/passenger airbags and seatbelts.
