Gets Me From Point A to B
Despite that my Oldsmobile is an older car, it still gets me from point A to B. The body of the car is still in great condition and is more sturdy than most cars made today. This car is roomy in both seating and the trunk. The only negative fallback is it's a V8 in the engine so gas mileage isn't the best, especially when it comes to in town driving. Still, the car was worth the investment.

A decent, reliable car
The Cutlass Ciera SL that I purchased a few years ago has been a pretty solid car since I've owned it. I haven't really had many major issues as far as the engine goes, though the mileage isn't amazing (around 25 miles per gallon). I've logged almost 30,000 miles on the car since I got it about 12 years ago, and it's still running today. It has decent handling and acceleration, and the brakes work pretty well. It's not a remarkable car, really, but it is definitely solid and has worked well for me. One little thing that I like about the Cutlass is the retractable antenna. It's a small thing, but I think it's kind of cool and enables you to fit the car under places that are a little lower to the ground without damaging the antenna. There are some cons, however. For one thing, the power window motors gradually wore down over time, and they eventually got to the point where the windows would not roll up after having been rolled down, and you would have to wait X number of minutes before the windows would slowly close again. Another minor issue is that some drains inside the passenger-side door get clogged over time, and eventually the door will fill with water when it rains, and then you can hear the water sloshing around when you drive around for days after a heavy rainfall. This also tends to make the car smell a little murky after it's rained. Overall, I think the Cutlass Ciera is a pretty decent car, but it's not something I would shout positive things about from the rooftops. It's just a solid vehicle that has gotten me from point A to point B. If you can find one with relatively low mileage, you can probably expect to drive it to well past 100,000 miles (a number I passed on the odometer a couple years ago).

A Spacious, Well- Running Car
What I love most about my car is how much room it has on the inside. It is certainly less lengthy than a modern SUV or minivan, but can legally sit up to six people (three in front, 3 in back). There is plenty of legroom, and I feel that Oldsmobiles are slightly wider than a standard car. Plus the trunk is large enough to accommodate four large suitcases! Additionally, the transmission still runs smoothly. Even though my car is from the year 1993 it does not jerk and the ride is quiet and fluid. There is such power in this car! Plus, it still accelerates quickly even though it's twenty years old. Unfortunately, with age there are some drawbacks. For example, my Oldsmobile does not have the amenities of modern vehicles. My car lacks cup holders or electronically operated windows. There are no air bags in case of an emergency. Even the look is a big shabby. The color is a weird, dark green and there is a lot of rust at the bottom of the car doors. Lastly, my biggest complaint is that the fuel economy is terrible. I think that this car gets about ten miles to the gallon. Especially with the prices of gas these days, the gas mileage is the worst!
