We love our Buick Le Sabre
My husband and I bought a 2005 Buick Le Sabre car a couple of years ago. It had a little over 50,000 miles on it when we purchased it. This car has been an excellent vehicle. We have never had any kind of problem with it. It is the limited model so it has features like leather seats, heated seats, power seats, etc. It has OnStar already installed and it works well. We were able to get a three month free trial of OnStar and we enjoyed the benefits of that. We recently took this car on a 5,600 mile vacation across country (in May of 2015) and we did not have a SINGLE problem with it. We drove through desert terrain during an unexpected downpour when we could barely see, through winding Yosemite highways while it was snowing, in the nerve racking city traffic of Sacramento traffic jams, through the redwoods and all the way to the Oregon border and never, not once did we have a single issue with this car in any way. It was smooth riding, handles curvy roads well and it is very roomy. We have two teenage children and we are all tall. My daughter is the shortest at 5ft7 my son is 6'0 tall and they both sat in the back seat and had ample leg room and were very comfortable for the entire trip. I feel confident enough in my Buick Le Sabre that I wouldn't be hesitant to drive it all the way to Alaska and back. I have no doubt that it would make the trip just fine. We get good gas mileage, too. We average around 30 mpg highway. Not as great as newer vehicles but great for a car that is ten years old! We not only drove this car on a 5,600 mile trip - we CAR CAMPED on this trip. The trunk is HUGE and we were able to fit a tent, four chairs, four sleeping bags, clothing, camp stove, food... Everything we needed to camp for our 3 week trip.

Great miles for year
I inherited this car from my grandmother.
Having never been driven very much, I received the car with very low miles for a 1999 car. It is a Buick LeSabre with the presidential trim package. I really like the features it has, such as white wall tires, spoked rims, and a blue material top. The electronics are superior for the late nineties, including electronically controlled moving seats, and twilight sentinel headlights. You can adjust the sensitivity of these automated headlights. Although it only includes a cassette deck in the center console, this is to be expected for the year. If I felt the need I could easily modify this console to include a CD player and/or auxiliary audio input. Another feature I enjoy is the Dynaride suspension system which absorbs substantial shock and makes it feel as if the car is almost floating over more uneven roads and rougher terrain. Since receiving the car, I have driven from Boston, MA to Savannah, GA twice, and from Savannah to Phoenix, AZ without any complications, engine or otherwise. The only issues I've had to have fixed have been the starter and the brake line, simply due to the fact that these are old parts. Neither has failed since. I enjoy most if not all aspects of my 1999 Buick LeSabre.

Works but steadily stops working
The look and feel of the car are nice. It runs well for the most part and is a sturdy reliable car. It comes with a lot of standard things you would expect out of a car. This includes a CD player, heater, AC, air bags, automatic transmission etc. The problem is that a lot of the features stopped working after normal wear and tear. For instance, the tape deck has tracking issues and eats actual tapes. the worst example this is the heating system. Though the AC works, the actual heater does not. This is the standard heater with no modifications but would be about 800 dollars to replace the blower motor. As well as the problems with the alignment of the car and the oil burning smell that no mechanic I have been to has been able to identify what is the cause. The car works but it has a lot of odd occurrences and weird behavior. But to be fair, I have never had a problem with the car stalling or breaking down. The car's lights also do not shut off on their own. As well as the windshield wipers don't work and must be used manually with the switch.
