The Acura TL Type S is a beautiful sports sedan. The overall styling on the TL is very unique and I really enjoy it. Stepping into the car is a whole different experience as it is pretty luxurious with beautiful black leather perforated seats. The car is excellently engineered and rides very smooth but sporty. I liked the interior as it was very luxurious for being a sports sedan. I expected that kind of quality from a luxury sedan from a Lexus or BMW. Another bonus of the TL would be the sound system, Acura equipped the TL with a Bose system that was very crisp and clean. I can crank up the base and it was like I had an aftermarket audio system. Overall, the car was a blast to drive as it had plenty of horsepower and accelerated smoothly. Ride quality was top notch and the transmissio... (more)

No fun/memorable stories.
Pros
One pro of the Acura TL Type S would be the interior. Acura is known to be similar to Honda but a bit sportier and more luxurious. The interior is equipped with comfortable perforated leather seats, sunroof, plenty of headroom, plenty of legroom and a premium sound system. Another pro of the TL would be the exterior. The TL has some very long lines on the body that just extend from the hood all the way to the rear trunk with the spoiler. Everything flows very nicely and is a pleasure to look at. Another pro is that the TL drives very well. The TL handles like a beast and is very powerful w... (more)
Cons
One con of the Acura TL Type S would be the gas mileage. Being a sports sedan, I didn’t expect great mileage but the mileage was just terrible even when I was driving cautiously. As a person that commutes daily and drives very often, the gas mileage was a huge negative factor that led me to sell the car. Another con would definitely be the repair costs. Luckily I did not have any major repairs or problems and even if I did, I would be able to fix it myself. I once took the car to an Acura dealership to get a quote on some problem and it was extremely expensive for such an easy fix. This sa... (more)

I chose the car because compared to others at the same price, it had it all! I didn't have to choose a lot of options. It came with leather, a great stereo, sun/moon roof, and 6 CD changer. I love the sleek appearance and styling of the car. When I have several people in the car, they tell me it's quite comfortable, with generous leg room in the back seat. I did opt for the Navigation system, which also included the capability of satellite radio. I think the car has tons of power, and is fun to drive, and easy to control. The navigation system leaves me a little frustrated at times. There are also some blind spots which make backing the car tricky, and making seeing pedestrians in a certain location tricky. I think the 2006 TL drives a little tighter and a little rougher than an earlie... (more)
Story
The car has just been a really dependable auto. I moved across the country a while back and we had the car literally stuffed with our take along items, and even the family pet! We drove through extreme heat, and went a total of over three thousand miles, and never had a bit of trouble.
Pros
The top positive things about this car are as follows: It is a Honda product which is fantastic; I am a loyal Honda person. The sleek styling and sporty yet classy appearance. The horsepower makes it super fast. It is a generally comfortable car with gorgeous leather interior. I can pack quite a bit in the trunk. I like the satellite radio feature included with the navi system. I enjoy the sun/moon roof on a nice day. The stereo system is good quality and I've got to' have my tunes! The reliability of the car has been fabulous. I like the self-adjusting rear view mirror (can dim down for t... (more)
Cons
Blind spots making backing up tricky. There are also a couple blind spots in the front (the post between the front and side windows is very wide.) Though the trunk is a generous size, the opening is strange so it makes getting items in tricky. I wish the cup holders were in a different spot! I keep hitting drink cups and straws when adjusting the radio, and when trying to rest my arm on the console. The ride is sort of rough. My older TL was a more "luxurious" ride, this model is not as smooth. Brakes are a bit touchy when you reach a certain point when depressing brake pedal. It kind of m... (more)

Car dealerships are typically franchised to sell and service vehicles by specific companies. They are often located on properties offering enough room to have buildings housing a showroom, mechanical service, and body repair facilities, as well as to provide storage for used and new vehicles. Many dealerships are located out of town or on the edge of town centers. An example of a traditional single proprietorship car dealership is Collier Motors in North Carolina. Many modern dealerships are part of corporate-owned chains such as AutoNation with over 300 franchises. Dealership profits in the US mainly come from servicing, some from used cars, and little from new cars. The average new car price was $33,419 in 2015, while used cars cost $19,397.

No less than three dedicated customer service employees working the office while the mechanics are doing their thing. Courtesy cars couldn't be easier to use. I brought in my 2002 Acura RSX because of a check engine light. (nb: the diagnostic test is between $50-60.) AHC explained the service needed clearly and in a non-condescending way. Fixed some smaller things while they were at it, like replacing the battery in my key fob. The bulk of the fee was for parts; labor fee was reasonable for SV. Told me the car should be ready by the afternoon, and it was. This was my test-run for a place *not the dealership*, which has become ridiculously expensive. I feel pretty good about bringing my car back when it's time for the 100,000 m. service.
